| Just posting up what I'm in need of for some scalesets that I'm working on o3o.. Component wise that is. (an X indicates what components have been obtained) Head, 2x wing, 2x hindleg, tail and back scales. will possibly drop the headscale, due to it being possible to put jewelry crystals in them in the near future. All these resist scales will be having tooth and claw techs aswell, with exception of the blight+flame resist scales. Those will not be having strength techs.
Slash resist: completed
Blight+flame resist: X14 Fiery Dire Wolf Fang 14 Veteran Abomination Chest Skull 14 veteran Skeleton Sternum X14 Dire Wolf Fang X14 Giant Ice Beetle Mandible
Crush resist: 14 Mithril Golem Fragment 14 Grey Necrofly Wing 14 Purple Spider Venom 14 Emerald Golem Chip X14 Dire Wolf Fang X14 Giant Ice Beetle Mandible
Pierce resist: 28 Purple Spider Venom 14 Emerald Golem Chip X14 Dire Wolf Fang X28 Giant Ice Beetle Mandible
Energy Resist: 14 icy dire wolf fang 14 kwellen energy node 14 Purple Spider Venom 14 Emerald Golem Chip X14 Dire Wolf Fang X14 Giant Ice Beetle Mandible
Thinking of having some more resist scales too. And ofcourse crafting scales. That's alot of scalesets >_>

| Decided to think about crafting scales aswell. Afterall, they are needed when one wants to actually gain decent amounts of t5 and t6 resources. I could be wrong, but to me, this seems to be the most useful scalesetup to make. Haven't really through about transmutation/alchemy scales yet though, if they're even needed anymore with all the t6 resource nodes that are being added. Blue Vexators. ergh.
-marble strength scales (mining, smelting, scalecraft) 40 mithril golem fragments 20 giant flame beetle mandible 20 nahguk ogre jawbone 20 giant fire beetle mandible 20 veteran skeleton sternum
-marble strength scales (t&c, quarrying, stoneworking) 20 dire wolf fang 40 giant ice beetle mandible 40 marble golem fragment 20 icy dire wolf fang
-marble power scales (focus, essence harvesting, essence shaping) 20 bloodsnout gruok snout 20 blue vexator fringe 20 purple spider venom 20 fiery dire wolf fang 20 dire wolf fang 20 veteran skeleton sternum
-marble power scales (strength, lairshaping, crystalshaping) 20 purple spider venom 40 emerald golem chip 20 marble golem fragment 20 veteran ghost vapor 20 giant flame beetle mandible
-marble power scales (focus, gemworking, spellcraft) 20 bloodsnout gruok snout 20 blue vexator fringe 20 emerald golem chip 20 giant flame beetle mandible 20 marble golem fragment 20 yew treant knot
-total 40 mithril golem fragments 60 giant flame beetle mandible 20 nahguk ogre jawbone 20 giant fire beetle mandible 40 veteran skeleton sternum 40 dire wolf fang 40 giant ice beetle mandible 80 marble golem fragment 20 icy dire wolf fang 40 bloodsnout gruok snout 40 blue vexator fringe 40 purple spider venom 20 fiery dire wolf fang 60 emerald golem chip 20 veteran ghost vapor 20 yew treant knot | |

| Dunno if it'd help you any, but if you wanted to off one'a those sets you might consider a setup like what I'll put below. Would save some trouble of having to switch sets too.
Spellcraft - essence shaping - essence harvesting
Stoneworking - gemworking - quarrying
That'll get ya opt at just about all'a thoe. It's impossible to be opt at processing t6 anyway, so not much to worry about there.
And yeah, just forget transmuting scales, they're not needed.
If you want to be opt at t6 tricuts though a set of power scales with gemworking - dexterity - focus yould do ya good, along with a claw and a few t6/t5 stat crystals.
